’Nostalgia tropikal’ means tropical nostalgia in Papiamentu. Language of the island that never was my home, but I still long for at times.
first collection.
The first collection should feel strangely familiar. Most of us never had the opportunity to meet a chameleon, seaturtle, hummingbird or flamingo. They are strangers to us.
Yet, their distinctive colors and shapes immediately speak to us. They intrigue us, make us smile and may feel even familiar.
t-shirts.
Every t-shirt has its own hand drawn design on the back, combined with a handwritten signature left on the chest. The fabric is organic, combed cotton. Heavyweight (200 GSM) with a slight oversized fit and a dropped shoulder. Limited availability.
